The defense rested on Tuesday Dec 4 after hearing from City Manager Greg Copeland, Mayor Diana Longrie, and Citizen Services Manager Karen Guilfoile.
The attorneys have requested a testimony transcript for use in preparing their proposed findings. The court recorder plans to have the transcript substantially complete by the first week in January. The attorneys then have two weeks to prepare their findings - the third week in January. Judge Gearin then has up to 90 days to prepare her ruling - late April 2008.
More testimony summaries later today or the weekend.
