On December 28th, just hours after the December 27th, 2007 special council meeting called by the Copeland Council for the purpose of approving the required Conditional Use Permit, Maplewood issued a building permit to Clear Channel for its Highway 36 digital sign.
With a level of alacrity not often displayed for less urgent matters, Mr. Copeland personally walked the permit application through city hall.
What is it about Clear Channel's approach that rates this level of attention?
