Even the founders of the United States of America, by making provision to amend the Constitution, understood that their judgment might not stand the test of time. Four members of the Maplewood City Council are less self-aware.
Since the final version has not been drafted I assume entering in to the agreement to place a conservation easement on the Priory reserve requires at least one more council vote. It is a faint hope that some council members might take that time to reflect on the principle they are preparing to sell down the river.
