The Star Tribune reports, based on a restricted access article in the Duluth News Tribune, that at least one St. Louis County Commissioner wants to restrict residents from recording some board meetings.
St. Louis County is considering restrictions on residents recording some board meetings after a commissioner complained.Commissioner Keith Nelson of Eveleth (Ev'-leth) says he's concerned that snippets of board discussions are being edited and taken out of context to "make people look bad."
He's asked for a legal opinion about whether the board could ban private residents from recording meetings.
