Copeland suspended in new council's trial-by-fire
The first Maplewood City Council meeting of the new year opened to a packed house Jan. 14.
With council chambers filled to capacity in anticipation of the contentious kickoff, one thing seemed clear: it hasn't gotten any quieter in City Hall.
The suspension of City Manager Greg Copeland and the search for his replacement dominated a heated meeting punctuated by catcalls from the audience.
